A large part of the JF Companies vision and culture is the desire to not to only find appropriate solutions, but to strengthen and become a partner in the communities in which the organization and employees live and work. JF Companies and its employees donate money and time to philanthropic causes where they can truly make a difference. Current Civic Involvement activities include but are not limited to:
Capital Facilities Fee Foundation
Denver, Colorado
The Capital Facilities Fee Foundation is a unique Colorado public/private partnership to promote and assist in the financing of new educational facilities and the expansion of existing educational facilities. The non-profit organization’s goals are to address funding shortfalls between the estimated cost of school capital construction needs and the School District’s bonding capacity to fund the schools over a 10-year period.
National Jewish Medical and Research Center

Ranked as the #1 Respiratory Hospital in America since 1998, the National Jewish Medical and Research Center will expand its efforts in Lupus research and care as a result of a grant received from JF Companies founder, Joel Farkas and his wife Carol – launching the Center for Lupus Research and Treatment. www.nationaljewish.org
